I'm Sophie
I am a recent graduate of the American University in Washington, DC. I graduated Magna Cum Laude in May 2022, receiving a BA in Public Relations & Strategic Communication, with minors in Graphic Design and Marketing.
Currently, I am a freelance graphic designer. I am also helping my dad launch a new non-profit, but it's top-secret...for now!
During college, I served as the Design Director for AU's chapter of Her Campus. With the help of my design team, we produced a 60-page magazine called 'Collegiette' that was distributed every semester.
Last summer I was a Public Relations Intern at Branigan Communications, where I learned the ins-and-outs of media lists, pitching, and roadshows. Most recently I was a Public Relations Intern at Scott Circle Communications in Washington, DC.
Formerly, I was the Public Relations and Communications Intern at Penfield Children's Center, a non-profit in Milwaukee, WI.
In my free time, I like to go on nature walks, discover new music, explore DC, hammock by the lake, cook, bake, travel, take photos, spend time with my family, doodle, hang out with my friends, and focus on personal health and well being.
